DIE SOUND BOOK APP

SoundBook is an app that transforms reading aloud into an immersive experience with sounds and music. Using speech recognition, it knows exactly which part of a book is being read and plays tailored sounds in real time. When a character walks through a snowy night, you hear footsteps in the snow, the wind, falling flakes and the call of an owl. Every story time becomes a new adventure – without replacing the book or the act of reading itself.

The first children’s book brought to life with SoundBook was “Gian and Giachen and the fearless snow hare Vincenz”, which became the number one bestseller in Switzerland in autumn 2016.
